Deduction Recovery

KeHE and UNFI took deductions from your payments. Some of them should come back.

Send us your remittance and deduction reports for the last six months. We read every line, show you which deductions are worth disputing and by when, and — if you want — file the disputes for you. The audit is free. Our fee is 20% of what the distributor actually returns, and nothing if nothing comes back.

A range is enough. It tells us how many deductions to expect.

Who do you sell through?

We send a link that signs you in. There is no password.

No card, no contract at this step. You upload reports, we show you what we found, and only then do you decide whether we dispute anything.

How it works

  1. You upload the reports. The Excel export of KeHE's K-Solve grid, UNFI's remittance and adjustment files, or the PDFs they e-mail you. No integration and no portal password at this step.
  2. We audit every deduction. Each line gets its distributor code read, its dispute deadline worked out, and a note on what it would take to dispute it. A person on our side checks the figures before you see them.
  3. You decide. You see the audit, and only if you authorise us in writing do we prepare and file the disputes and chase the answers.

What it costs

$0 for the audit · 20% of recovered deductions

No monthly fee, no minimum, no set-up charge. If a dispute is refused you owe nothing for it. We invoice only after the distributor has paid you back or credited you, with their confirmation attached.

Why the dates matter

A deduction can only be disputed for a limited time. KeHE is reported to refuse disputes filed more than 180 days after the deduction, and UNFI to deny adjustments older than 12 months. Those figures come from published supplier guides rather than from the distributors' own login-only policy pages, so the audit shows each deadline and asks you to check it against your own portal. Either way, a six-month-old deduction is nearly out of time at KeHE today.

What we do not promise

We do not promise that a distributor will repay any deduction, or how fast it will answer. A remittance line cannot prove a deduction is wrong — your purchase order, proof of delivery or promotion agreement can. So most lines in an audit say “disputable if you have the backup”, and the dispute itself states only what your records support.

Nothing is filed in your name until you have seen the audit and authorised us, and you can stop at any time.

Deduction Recovery is a recovery service, not a law firm, and this is not legal advice. A flagged deduction is one we think is worth disputing — not a promise that the distributor will repay it.
